Ok. This is the final BlackBerry Email Tip posting of the series. If you happened to miss any of the others please reference : 10 Neat BlackBerry Email Tips Part 1 and 10 Neat BlackBerry Email Tricks Part 2.
Now on to the remaining three tips:
#3 – Reply and Forward your emails quicker
Again, don’t use your BlackBerry menu, use a shortcut. Just hover over the email you wish to reply to or forward and press “R” and “F” respectively.
#2 – Want to keep your messages on your BlackBerry longer or shorter than 30 days? Modify your options.
That’s right, you can change this and so many people just didn’t notice the option. All you have to do is:
- From your BlackBerry menu, select “Options“
- Select “General Options“
- Scroll until you see “Keep Messages“
- Select the days you want to keep your messages.
- Press the back button.
- Select “S” or “Save” to keep the changes made.
#1 – Delete multiple email messages at once.
Yes, I saved this for last, because this is honestly my favorite tip of all. When I started using my BlackBerry, I just wish I would have known this tip.
Instead of deleting your BlackBerry email messages one by one, you can simply open your BlackBerry email composer and from the message list hold the caplocks button (has arrow and aA) and scroll with the trackball all the way down the list to delete whichever emails you want.
Now, beware…this will delete all of the emails that are in a row, you can not skip down the list with this trick.
That’s it guys, that’s all I have. Well not really but more will come soon. If you guys have any cool email tricks, leave them in the comments and I will post them.

Thanks, that’s cool stuffs..
*PS: My BB Bold doesn’t allow me to keep emails for more than 3-5 days. Although I have selected 6 Months or Forever under the General Options -> Keep Messages..
Any cool advice? Thanks!
Hmmm….haven’t heard of this, but will look into it.
